The definition of quintessential is "representing the perfect example of a class or quality". This is what I strive for with my photographs. Whether I am photographing a horse show, or basketball game, the action and character always shines through.

People often ask me why I named my business Quintessential Photography. My beloved horse, Quincy's full name, was Quintessential, and it has always stuck with me. As well as working with horses, I have also been active in basketball and lacrosse.  I guess it is no surprise why I chose to specialize in sports and equine photography.  I feel a strong connection with many sports. It is my pleasure to photograph the always moving action and to capture that moment in time that will last forever.
